Monument Artynova

Gregory Artynova Monument is located in the city park on the street Kozitskogo that in the central part of Vinnytsia. Its opening was timed to the 655 anniversary of the city. The author and the chief sculptor of the work was the architect of Lviv V. Tsysarik.

The history of the monument Artynova

Gregory Artynov worked as the chief architect of the city of Vinnitsa in 1900 and the last day of his life. It was on his unusual, beautiful and unique project of the city was built and developed, and the building is still pleasing to the eye of locals and visitors. Thanks Artynova now have the opportunity to watch such works of masters like Women`s Gymnasium (now the School №2), Music and Drama Theatre, City Council, which was before the hotel "Savoy", Regional Scientific Library, as well as a water tower in the town square. In addition, the architect involved in the creation of iron bridges connecting both banks of the river across the island Kemp, his hands touched the construction of the first urban water supply, power plant and the first tram line in the city. The name of the architect Artynova in Vinnitsa was named one of the central streets. He was a master of his craft.

The monument is made of bronze in the form of benches on which sat the architect himself. He seemed to stare over the city, which in part has become so thanks to him. Unusually made and benches where sat the master. It depicts his most famous creation.

Today, anyone can admire a monument to the architect and sit beside him, gaining inspiration for new creative achievements.
