Pushkin Square, Uzhgorod

Pushkin Square is the center of the old Uzhgorod. Small patch with a monument to Pushkin was witness to many important events in the life of the city.

An area considered to be the most popular destination in the Carpathian capital. This is not surprising, because the monument to the great writer out of the window of the regional branch of the National Bank of Ukraine. In addition, the area is the beginning of the Bohemian district - the architectural highlights of the city.

It is noteworthy that Pushkin Square lurking in close interweaving narrow streets of Uzhgorod. One of its side surrounds Waterfront Independence, and on the other - originates lime avenue .

Pushkin Square is especially beautiful in spring when the cherry blossom pink, growing nearby. These rare for Uzhgorod trees were introduced centuries ago. Successfully stuck, Japanese cherry to this day feast for the eyes of locals and visitors alike.
