Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary is located in   Korostyshiv Zhytomyr region. It was built in 1779.

Quite a long time   building of the church was used as a family tomb Olizara.   Known race almost to the middle of the 19th century was full and sole owner of the land Korostyshevskaya.

During the reign of Soviet power the church was empty, it had never been any religious rites. For a while in the room of the church kept grain reserves, and after World War II even showed a movie.

Since 1991, with the collapse of the Soviet Union, the temple was owned by the Roman Catholic community. Up to and including 2008, the building renovations. During this time, it restored most of the inside and outside of the room.

Decorate the interior of the temple exclusive works of the Polish national master Furdyny.   In front of the temple is a monument to G. Olizara - public figures and well-known poet.
