Park Mlinov

The first mention of Mills dating from the 16th century. But the greatest flourishing towns fell on the reign of one of the oldest families in Poland - Chodkiewicz. They built there own palace , the church, which was both tribal burial, and a garden, which survives to this day.

History Mlyniv Park

Chodkiewicz family first lived in Chernobyl Kiev province. After the death of her husband, Nicholas Chodkiewicz, his wife Louis, obviously, wanted to move closer to Warsaw. Mills became the place where he stayed lady.

In 1785 the construction of the manor estate. Perhaps Louis Khotkevych had some ties to the royal palace, as the estate planning mill in court architect Leopold Schlegel.

Legend of sculptures

How to get to the park

Mills is located 55 kilometers from the regional center - the city of Rivne . You can get to the town of Rivne bus, on the street Kiev, 40 (the so-called "old bus station").

The nearest railway station is in Dubna . that 20 kilometers from the mill. You make a stop trains from Kyiv , Rivne, Lviv , Ternopil , Kharkiv , Uzhhorod .

The Mill Park is located on the banks of the river Ikva between Michurina streets and 17 September, on the southern outskirts of town.
