Sculpture Iglavskie urchins, Uzhgorod

These three incredibly cute hedgehogs, which stood on the railing of Kyiv embankment in Uzhgorod is one of a series of popular city mini-sculptures. Few tourist miss the opportunity to be photographed next to these creatures.

History Sculpture hedgehogs

Settled on the railing of hedgehogs in 2013. They - a symbol of the Czech town of Jihlava (Czech Republic), which is a sister city of Uzhgorod. This - the joint work of the blacksmith and sculptor Basil Kryvanycha Michael Block. First hedgehogs were four, but one of the smallest, of the city of Jihlava presented. At the opening of the monument was attended by the mayors of both cities.
