Carnival 2016, Kyiv, Kopachiv
This year Carnival 2016 in Kyiv and other cities of Ukraine will begin on the eve of International Women`s Day. The festive program prepared not only ethnographic complexes, but many cafes and restaurants.
The main events fall on the weekend - 12 and 13 March. Bright celebration will be held at the Postal Square in Pirogovo Expo, the "Park Kievan Rus` and in many other places of Kyiv region.

Where to celebrate Pancake Day in 2016 in Kiev
In the capital of Carnival is celebrated big. Many institutions and organizations are preparing an interesting program and delicious food for the holiday. Beautiful note prepared:
1. Charitable Foundation "innate edge", which organizes festivities titled "Oil on the Postal Square".

2. National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life "pie" will hold an ancient rite Kolodiy. In the Song Festival Grounds visitors can enjoy a varied folk fun:
- competition on the deck;
- tug of war;
- horseback riding;
- "Whipping Winter" myryla power and many other competitions.
At the festival invited folk groups that are prepared to deliver a program of folk songs and dances. Guests can enjoy dishes: dumplings, pancakes and homemade compote. The highlight of the celebration will be burning the evil spirit in the form of "sloppy grandfather."

3. Expocenter of Ukraine traditionally prepare a merry festive exhibition-fair "Carnival 2016". Everyone can taste dishes of Ukrainian cuisine, treat themselves to pancakes, pies and dumplings from Ukrainian producers. The fair will also be the opportunity to purchase products of craftsmen, hand-made souvenirs and farm products. In addition, the program includes:
- festivities in compliance folk rituals;
- workshops;
- concerts and entertainment;
- competitions, presentations, prizes;

6. Cultural and entertainment complex "Mamayev Sloboda" invites you to celebrate Kolodiy of Ukrainian dumplings with cheese. The main slogan of the event: "Ukrainian dumplings against Russian mills."In addition to delicious dumplings with different fillings Cossack village "Mamaev Sloboda" invites you to enjoy the holiday atmosphere of picturesque compliance with ancient traditions, folk music and dancing with folk groups. Guests can also:
- ride horses or sleigh;
- eat cooked on the fire Cossack drink;
- swing on the swings;
- buy interesting souvenirs.

7. Ethnographic Complex "Ukrainian Village" celebrates Pancake Day as a holiday Kolodiy conducting traditional ceremonies. For visitors prepared a special ritual folklore program:

- burning straw effigies - the symbol of winter;
- Traditional competition "pillar of gifts" for the most courageous;
- Ostrich eggs and farm tour as a present for every visitor.
Also delicious pancakes with various fillings, hot drinks and colorful fun atmosphere.

9. National Historical-Ethnographic Reserve "Pereyaslav" offers traditional festivities at the fair. The main event will be held in the Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of the Middle Dnieper . The program provided:
