History of travel Curve Lime begins in 1893, when local businessman and owner of "Grand Hotel" Ephraim Haussmann decides to create next to the hotel open arcade with two outs on the street Sikstuskuyu (now - Doroshenko) and the street May 3 (Sich Riflemen). Construction lasted for 2 years, in 1895 the object was already put into operation. The street was named after its founder.
During the occupation from 1942 to 1944 bore the name of travel Durhlyas, which translated from German means "pass".
In 1950 the street was renamed again, now in honor of the Bolshevik revolution in 1917 year - Oktyabrsky travel. Crooked Linden street was named after Ukraine gained independence in 1992.
Interesting Facts
Until the second half of the 19th century on the site of today`s passage was located the swamp, it was completely overgrown with bushes and was part of the botanical garden Mayer. It is through this passage and received its present name, which comes from the 150-year-old lime tree, which in our days is reminiscent of bygone natural complex in the heart of the city.

Curve Lipa is located in the central part of Lviv . To get to the Passage Haussmann tourist can both on foot and by public transport.
